GEORGE PERRY 1955-1959

CENTERFIELDER
Perennial All-Star broke into the league in 1955 with Roxys Cleaners and captured Rookie of the Year Honors. He won the league batting title in 1956 with a .471 average. He played on three championship teams with Roxys Cleaners in 1955, 1956 and 1959.

CURT COONS 1985-1994
CATCHER
Premier catcher of his time. This five time All-Star joined the league in 1985 with Rotterdam State Color. In 1989 he was named regional MVP which helped lead Apex Printing to the Stan Musial World Series. He followed that up by playing on two championships with Anaconda Sports in 1990 and 1991. His final year was played with Heflins Builders in 1994 and led the league with nine home runs.

FRANK POTOCHNEY 1980-1996
FIRST BASEMAN
A three time All-Star. This Ithaca standout played in the league for sixteen years and played on seven championship teams, Sons of Italy in 1981,82,85,86 and Apex Printing in 1992,93,94. He won the league batting title in 1982 with a.443 average. In 1989 he played in the Stan Musial World Series with Apex Printing.

PIERCE MAHAR 1973-1987
THIRD BASEMAN
A three time All-Star. He broke into the league in 1973 and played for Culligans. A Division III All-American at Brockport State, he played with Roma Trading Ports, Burke Agency and Finkles Jewelers from 1974 to 1978. Following his return from Graduate School in 1981 he played with Zaloga Post from 1982-1987. His career was highlighted by capturing the League MVP in 1984.
